US approach for all nerve blocks (Oscar Ghelber, 16 December 2011)
US technique changed the way I do blocks. For the last 2 years I have been using only US to do the blocks and I would not dare do a block without prior visualization. I think not only the block is faster in onset and more intense but also the risk of side effects is lower. I do pediatric anesthesia and I am capable of doing a pediatric block very fast and efficient with US Sincerely Oscar Ghelberread full comment

Practical parameter (Carlos Vazquez Perez, 10 February 2009)
So we can now predict with some precision the evolution of a group of MCI patients... That´s fantastic! This means that we can now easily say "this patient has a high likelihood to convert to vascular dementia, lets optimize his/her treatment including cardiovascular protective approaches".This is really a step forward in the current manage of MCI patients. I´d like to be provided with such a test in my clinical practice. Is it going to be commercialized?

Health Educational Interventions (Carlos Vazquez Perez, 01 August 2008)
Hi,I find this article really interesting.I have always thought Educational Intervertions should be the main pillar of any Health System. How many diseases/disorders/injures could be avoided if a well addressed intervention had been performed... On the other hand teaching to general public how to act when diseases such as ischemic cardiopathy or stroke ocurrs is a basic objective.Nevertheless these interventions have to be well assessed to ensure that are valid and effective. Therefore works like this one are esential to reforce Educational Interventions.
